Anthro New England was organized in 2014 with the goal of hosting a furry convention in Greater Boston.[3] Their first event was held from February 27 to March 1, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During the first convention, 165 people took part in the fursuit parade.
